This isn't about an article, but it is about a new site that should be of interest to any music or video producers. It is called free use music, and it is a nice way of getting together some free legal music downloads that people can use in films or animations and stuff like that.
This is how it works: music producers can submit certain songs of theirs to be listed on the site. This will get them some free exposure from the site itself, but it will also get their music in video projects which can also spread the word about their art. Video producers can search the site for the free music and use it in projects as long as they credit the composers. There are no royalties or legal complications at all, which makes this ideal for people needing music for student projects or other things with low budgets.
This site should be a good thing for both music and media professionals and students, so we are happy to help promote it. Check it out when you get the chance and if you have some music laying around that you made and never did anything with, think about submitting it to the site.
